Before Dental Impants

• Maintain good oral hygiene and cleanliness as much as possible
• Avoid smoking for the three days prior to and the two weeks following dental implant placement
• Refrain from drinking alcohol, especially on the day of dental implant placement
• Get sufficient sleep, maintain a healthy routine, and have a balanced diet the day before dental implant placement
• Not to wear heavy makeup on the day of dental implant placement.
  If you have conditions such as high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, or any other health issues, please inform the Macau dental implant center beforehand
• If you have a history of conditions such as hepatitis, kidney dialysis, organ transplant, or if you are taking anticoagulant medications, please inform our clinic
• Maintain a relaxed and cheerful mood

After Dental Impants

• Please avoid forcefully rinsing or playing with the wound as it can affect the healing process
• If you notice slight bleeding or oozing, it is considered normal, and there is no need to worry. However, if bleeding continues persistently, please contact the Macau dental implant center for assistance
• Applying ice to the surgical area of dental implant placement can help reduce swelling and pain
• After 48 hours of using ice packs, you can switch to warm compresses
• It is recommended to consume a liquid or soft food diet during the first week after dental implant placement
• Before the removal of sutures, the dental implant area should not be brushed with toothpaste
• Strenuous exercise should be avoided within the first three days after the surgery
